FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of water heater do you recommend?
The best water heater for your home depends on several factors, including your energy source and household needs. Electric Systems: We recommend a standard tank water heater. These are reliable and built to last. We use trusted brands like AO Smith’s commercial line for residential homes, which come with a 6-year, no-questions-asked warranty. Natural Gas Systems: A tank water heater is also an excellent choice. Typically, these last 6 to 12 years, and proper maintenance—like regular flushing and using a softener or filtration system—can extend their lifespan significantly. Tankless Water Heaters: For longer-term performance, tankless water heaters (brands like Navien and Rinnai) can last 20+ years if flushed and descaled annually. While installation costs are higher upfront, they often outlast traditional tanks by 2-3 times. ⚠️ Important Note: We do not recommend electric tankless water heaters due to their lower reliability.
  • What is the best water softener for my home?
The ideal water softener depends on your home’s water quality and hardness levels. We typically recommend conducting a water sample test first to determine the best solution for your specific needs. For most residential applications, we often install Novo water softeners, which are highly reliable and effective. We also prefer pairing them with potassium salts instead of traditional sodium. Potassium is: Better for the environment Gentler on skin Longer-lasting than sodium options This combination ensures soft, high-quality water while being eco-friendly and family-safe.
  • Do you handle both commercial and residential plumbing work?
Yes! We are fully licensed for both commercial and residential plumbing projects. Our dual license classification is CR-37, allowing us to confidently handle everything from residential homes to large-scale commercial properties.
  • Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes! We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured plumbing company. You can trust that all of our work meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes! All of our work is guaranteed and warrantied for 1 year from the completion date. For fixtures and materials provided by us, we fully warranty both the installation and the fixture itself. For fixtures provided by the customer, we warranty the connecting parts and materials, but not the fixture itself. When making a new connection to an existing plumbing system, we stand behind all new piping and materials from the point of connection onward. Please note: Drain cleaning services are not covered under warranty, as future blockages may occur due to factors beyond our control after the initial service. For full details, please review our Terms and Conditions.
  • What is your hourly rate?
We operate on a flat rate pricing system, rather than charging by the hour. This allows us to provide clear, upfront pricing before we begin any work, so you know what to expect. Our flat rate covers the agreed-upon scope of the job, regardless of how long it takes to complete. However, if we encounter any unforeseen issues or additional work beyond the original scope, we’ll always communicate that with you first and discuss any necessary adjustments to the price before proceeding. We strive to keep our rates competitive and fair, often beating local market prices, while ensuring that your time and budget are respected.
